I had been using the older style grit guards in a set of Home Depot buckets, which worked well, but looked pretty ghetto. Decided to upgrade to the this newer style grit guard and couldn’t be happier plus the colors of these buckets look much nicer and more professional.

I bought this in tandem with the lids and screens. Buckets are - well, buckets, but certainly of a high polymer strength such that I can fill them and no issues with shape holding or handle supporting. When you buy the lids it makes for good storage of all the soaps, brushes, sponges, etc.

if you're looking for a two bucket process this is a great product and great price point. Really went with this line as it provided buckets, lids, and inserts. The insert was the piece that made the difference: not all inserts do what they are supposed to, and this design is optimal for keeping dirt out of your water source.

Buckets are sturdy and have an edge on the bottom that keeps them off the ground and from wearing out when slid on rough surfaces. The best part is the insert which keeps any dirt below and from being picked up on sponge or wash cloth. The lid keeps contaminants out between uses and the logo is just cool!
