Oberk Haken 8oz | Super Cut Compound

Oberk Haken Super Cut is a long-awaited product that we have been working on since 2018 or close after we launched the Oberk brand. We were able to finalize this formula in 2023, but with covid, the supply chain and costs associated made it hard to bring this product to market. We are currently bottling and filling these with the ability to take orders that will ship out in order as soon as possible.

Haken is German for hook, and that’s exactly what Haken provides. “A right hook to destroys defects in no time”.

Even with a German name, Oberk Haken is different from our other formulas, and is also manufactured right here in the US of A.

While heavy compounds may not be used as much as a product like Oberk Cut or Sole, it provides a ton of cutting ability, with an amazing finish for a product in its category. It will fill a huge void in the market place with other popular products among high level paint technicians and detailers that have been discontinued.

One focus was on the cutting ability, but another was the ability to finish with a haze or micromar than can be easily cleaned up with a second step. Many product like this leave behind heavy marring, and almost a scouring finish that can be difficult to remove easily in two steps.

We worked with the formula to avoid the product from sticking to the bottle, minimizing waste, or time scraping out old bottles.

Any detailer or technician doing high level wet sanding or even correcting high solid clear coat will appreciate what Oberk Haken can do.
