I installed this filter in-line before my wall mounted pressure washer. I used copper pipes with braided SS hoses and quick connects. I was a little worried about the plastic by-pass head, but there were no leaks. I'll have to wait to see how the valves and head hold up over time. It is a nice touch that the CG installs brass fittings. After filling and running 1 gallon of water through the filter the TDS went from about 260 ppm to zero ppm. I do have a whole house Culligan water softener for anyone wondering if they can be used together. I am a little concerned that no hardware warranty has been stated and multiple emails to CG have not resulted in an answer. Hopefully they will take care of any problems down the road. The by-pass valve is an awesome feature that will make the resin last much longer.

The system 50 DI water filter seems to do the job it's intended for. Testing the tap water at my house I got about 205 ppm. Testing the water after the charcoal pre-filter I was get a reading of about 180 ppm. Testing the water after the pre-filter and DI system I was getting a 0 ppm reading. You don't need a pre-filter, but I decided to go with one to help extend the life of the DI tank resin a little. As the smaller tank of the two options, it still takes up a bit of space, so make sure you have room for it. All in all I'm happy with the tank so far.

I was amazed how the.50 cubic ft. Deionizer performed… Absolutely no water spots… I will definitely reorder the media when this needs replacing….

Excellent product, after the third wash of running water through the system it dropped my 56 ppm down to zero.

I did a lot of researching before purchasing and I am very impressed with the performance of this DI system! Not only does it perform well, the cost of the bulk replacement resin is significantly lower as well

Havent used yet but shipping was fast an everything was in order I cant wait for the weather to get nice to tackle all my cars
