MTM Pressure Washer Hose Reel | 50' Hoses

Inlet on rear is 3/8" Male(where your inlet jumper hose connects) 

Outlet on side is 3/8" Female (where your hose going on the reel connects)

These are entry level hose reels, they are a great product for the price but take a little bit of work and some other parts to set them up properly. Here is how we suggest setting these up:

The outlet for your high pressure hose is on the side and is 3/8" female. Our Kobrajet hoses with bare 3/8" male ends will connect here, we do not suggest using quick connects for this connection point.

We do HIGHLY RECCOMEND you get one of these elbow to make this connection easier:

The inlet is on the back of the reel and 3/8" Male. We suggest installing one of these plugs on it:

This is where you would connect one of our jumper hoses from your pressure washer to the reel, in the length that works best for you.

We suggest installing these 3/8" coupler on both ends of your jumper hose:

The last piece you would need is a quick connect plug for the outlet of your pressure washer, we have these available in M22 14 and 15 sizes.

MTM Hydro's Hose Reels offer a consolidated and organized method for storing your KobraJet hose! Hardware is not included for mounting as this is specific to your setup, however the high grade brass swivel is recognized by many to outperform most other models in the cold water hose reel division.

Simply slide the swivel end of your Kobrajet hose through the opening provided at the side of the reel core and install the 3/8" Male NPT threads into the 3/8" Female NPT threads of the swivel. Do not make a Quick Coupling joint at the swivel as there is not enough space and the bend in the line is too severe. Be sure to allow a small amount of slack at the swivel joint and use the red hose fastener provided to secure the hose at this joint. Using a Whip Line connected to your pump, connect to the 3/8" Male NPT hose reel inlet. When planning, add an extra foot to the distance so as not to bend the Whip Line too severely. Lastly, install the handle with the hardware provided.

Before leaving your hose reel unattended, always engage the locking mechanism on the side of the reel.

This Hose reel is rated for cold water use only.
